Voting was suspended at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Jalozai camp polling station in NA-46 constituency after candidates alleged that the displaced persons were planted and not genuine.

Leader of different political parties alleged that Hamidullah Jan Afridi, the independent candidate who had won the 2008 elections, was part of a conspiracy to manipulate the election results and had planted bogus refugees in order to secure votes.

They claimed that the names of 15,000 members of the Malik Din Khel tribe were missing from the voter lists and that elections would not be allowed to continue under such conditions.
