TIMERGARA, May 3: A man and woman were shot dead by a relative of the latter in Asbanr Loi Kando village on Friday on suspicion of having illicit relations, residents and police told Dawn.

They said the man, resident of Kumbar Maidan, was a medical practitioner in the village for last few years. They said the girl, 20, who was married, was killed along with the man on suspicion that they had illicit relation.

The Asbanr police registered a double murder case on the report of girl’s relatives and started investigation. The accused escaped from the scene.

JUI-F RALLY: Activists of JUI-F took out a motorcycle rally in Talash on Friday. Hundreds of motorcyclists took part in the rally. The participants while waving party flags passed through various bazaars and gathered at Ziarat Talash.

The JUI-F candidate for NA-34 Qazi Fazlullah, for PK-94 Qazi Ayaz ud Din, Mufti Irfan and others spoke on the occasion. They said May 11 election was a battle between Islamists and secular elements. Qazi Fazlullah asked people to elect religious people in the election.
