KARACHI, May 19: Nine police officials have been suspended for keeping nine persons in illegal detention.

The action has been taken on the directives of Adviser to CM Aftab Ahmad Sheikh, who during his visit to Sujawal Police Station on May 16 found nine innocent persons illegally locked up.

The officials suspended are: Rasheed Haroon, Ali Nawaz, Iftikhar Arain, Hadi Bux Khushk, Allauddin, Abdul Majeed, Gulzar, Zaheer Ahmad and Rustam Zaman.—PPI
