GILGIT, May 18: Karakoram Highway has been reopened for all types of traffic after remaining blocked for 18 days, following land slides at many places, said an official of the Frontier Works Organization on Sunday.

The KKH is open since Sunday morning and Natco, a transport company, would now resume its operations.

The Gilgit-Skardu-Astore road remained closed due to blockades. However, the FWO has started efforts to reopen it.—APP
