Pro-Morsi protests in Pakistan

Pakistani supporters of Islamic party Jammat-e-Islami (JI) hold up portraits of ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi during a pro-Morsi rally in Karachi on July 7, 2013. Hundreds of Pakistani JI supporters rallied in support of Morsi in the Pakistan's port city of Karachi. The Egyptian army toppled Morsi from power last Wednesday following huge protests against his rule, but dozens of people have been killed in clashes in the wake of his departure.

Egyptians dont even know Jamaat e Islami exists, why do they do this? Stop interfering in other nations business, we made big mistake interfering in Afghanistan, did we learn nothing? These people give all Pakistanis a bad name.

Morsis governments downfall is a result of outcry of the oppressed those few innocent Muslims that were beaten to death by clubs and sticks and that included an aalim too. Mazloom ki jab aah nikalti hai to wo arsh tak jaati hai. Lol, what has Pakistan to do with Egypt or Morsi. I never seen protests in Egypt in support of Imran, or Bhutto or anything for that matter.

It is not 'just' the ouster of Morsi. Now they are rounding up Muslim Brotherhood's Leaders and there are incidents of firing on their protests. Many media stations, including Al-Jazeera were closed down. What kind of Revolution is that supposed to be? And then you expect Muslim Brotherhood to show restraint?

Shame on these ignorant people. The people of Egypt have celebrated when Morsi was ouster by Egyptian army and now Pakistnis are supporting him. Why are they interfering in others matters?. Why don't they rally againt Bomb blasts, corruption, drone attacks, load shedding, unemployment, target killing and many other problems ongoing in Pakistan?

Can you imagine if only JI and our other political parties start encouraging "wailay Pakistanis" to use their energies for something more meaningful instead: volunteer to play with children in orphanages; help elderly patients in hospitals; clean up the streets and their own mohallas (public pathways); go to libraries and just read books for knowledge; plant trees for the future; and I can go and on and on... that would truly be godly. Pakistanis... please please... wake up while there is still time...

they need media and public attention every now and then, ( like other groups and parties) they too disturbs and destroys civilian life under strikes, rallys, dharnas and so on and gets curses from public. they must refresh the lesson of HUQUQULIBAD.

These types of episodes, where violence is the main feature are the basic source of recreation for parties like JI. Since they have nothing better to do, so they keep adding fuel to the fire, in which ever way they can. How sad and pathetic, they have sold their beliefs for such a miserable price. But they shall be certainly called for account ,one day.

I have lived in many middle eastern countries for many years including Egypt. Never saw any protest over Pakistan problems nor the mosques give sermons including Pakistan's problems. I dont know why we act such a care for all and none for self attitude.
