Former spymaster gunned down in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A former assistant director of Intelligence Bureau (IB), Mujahid Khan was gunned down by unknown miscreants in Peshawar on Sunday night, DawnNews reported.
According to police, Khan was attacked in Peshawar’s Sheikhabad neighbourhood when he was returning home after offering evening prayers at a local mosque. He sustained serious bullet wounds in the attack.
Later, the former spymaster succumbed to his wounds at Lady Reading Hospital in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital.
The motive behind the killing is not ascertained as yet, however, Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

If spy masters are not safe in a country then who is? My sadness is two fold. We lost a good patriot and second reason for my sadness is why couldn't it be sharif or zardari or some corrupt tax evading politician.
