NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 17: About 300 activists of the People’s Party Parliamentarians took out a procession here on Saturday against registration of what they called false cases against party activists.

Led by MNA Syed Malhar Khan Rajpar, district PPP general-secretary Karim Bux Mallah and others, the procession started from the local press club and ended at the DCO office.

The protesters raised slogans against District Nazim Masroor Jatoi for lodging cases against PPP activists.

Talking to the protesters outside the DCO office, the PPP leaders said the district Nazim had lodged false cases against their party activists.

They said the district police were working for Jatois and they had registered false cases against 50 PPP activists of Nangar Chandio. They accused the district Nazim of pressurizing PPP activists to join the National People’s Party.—BoC
