HYDERABAD: Eid Milad celebrated

HYDERABAD, May 16: Eid Miladun Nabi was celebrated with religious fervour here on Thursday.

The city wore a bridal look since Wednesday as main roads and streets in Latifabad, Paretabad, Saddar, Phulelli and Station Road area were illuminated and decorated with colourful bunting. Government buildings were also decorated.

Many processions were taken out amid peaceful atmosphere.

Millad-i-Mustafa (PBUH) and Seerat conferences were also held by the Dawat-i-Islami and the City Taluka Council.

A Seerat conference was held in Paretabad. The Dawat-i-Islami held a meeting at the Station Road. The Anjuman-i-Shaidaiyan-i-Rasool held a Mehfil of Qawali.—Correspondent
