Murderer gets death

GUJRAT, May 12: A local court on Monday awarded death sentence with a fine of Rs100,000 to a convict in a murder case.

Miss Misbah Tufail (advocate) was the counsel of the complainant. According to the prosecution, Saadat Farooq had shot dead Ihsanullah on suspicion in Doga, Jalalpur Jattan, on May 21, 2001.

He will have to undergo a six-month hard jail if he defaults in the payment of fine which will be given to legal heirs of the slain.
