OKARA, May 11: A woman and a man were murdered in separate incidents in different parts of the district in the last 24 hours.
Muhammad Younas of 45/D suspected that his sister ‘K’ had relations with some men. On Saturday night, Younas along with his accomplice Muhammad Ali entered the house when his sister was asleep and shot her dead.
Hashim Ali was asleep in his shop in Kandwal (Deepalpur) when unidentified assailants came there and murdered him with a sharp-edged weapon. They also took away cash.
