HYDERABAD: Art exhibition

HYDERABAD, May 10: A three-day paintings exhibition of a young artist, Abdul Hafeez Qureshi, started at the Dr N. A. Baloch Model School, Elsa Qazi campus, Hyderabad, on Friday.

The vice chancellor, University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, inaugurated the exhibition.

More than two dozen paintings, including portraits, of scholar Allama I. I. Qazi and his wife, Elsa, were put on display.

Eminent scholar Dr N. A. Baloch, dean, Faculty of Education, Prof Asif Ali Qazi, and a large number of people from all walks of life attended the exhibition.

The vice chancellor appreciated the artwork and expressed hope that Mr Qureshi would continue his efforts to produce valuable art for the art lovers.

Dr Baloch also appreciated the work of Mr Qureshi and expressed hope that he wouild continue his efforts. The exhibition will continue upto May 11 from 9am to 9pm daily.—Bureau
