RAWALPINDI, May 10: Four armed persons, including a woman, looted a passenger bus on the Islamabad Highway in the wee hours of Saturday.

Police said that soon after the Lahore-bound bus (LPT-8661) had left Faizabad, four of its passengers, including a woman, stood up and pulled out their pistols.

The woman started robbing the female passengers of cash and jewellry while her accomplices collected cash from men.

The bandits asked the driver not to stop the bus until they reached near Sihala where they stopped the vehicle and escaped.

The looted cash and jewellry amounted to about Rs100,000.—Staff Reporter
