KARACHI, May 21: Eight ships carrying chemicals, mogas, crude oil, base oil, containers and cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Wednesday, said a KPT source.
Wan Hai 601, Opal Ace, Octaden, TS Singapore and Ozay-6 were berthed on Tuesday. While Sirocco, Mol Dignity, Opal Ace, Sea Wave, Calida, Santa Rosa and Dong A Peneus sailed out.
Fu Fong Song, YM South, Hyundai Freedom, TS Singapore, Wan Hai 501, Chang Hang, Huai Hai, Niara and Octaden were due to depart.
A cargo volume of 154,930 tonnes comprising 106, 854 tonnes of import and 48,076 tonnes of export was handled.
Following ships are due to arrive on Wednesday: Bunga Luncerne with chemical, Tamar with Mogas, United Grace with crude oil, Bunga Kantan with base oil, APL Brisbane, Captain Costas and Pona with containers, while UBC Canada with cement.
