ISLAMABAD, May 8: Muhammad Idrees struck an incredible 170 for OGDC on Thursday in a 71-run defeat of Hasan Memorial in the ICA-PTV League Cricket Championship.

OGDC accumulated 323 in 48.3 overs batting first in which Idrees played the star role, his big knock overshadowing Ehtisham Baig’s innings of 47. Shabih Haider, bowling to an accurate line and length snared four wickets for 58.

Hasan Memorial gave a strong reply but the efforts of Saeed Ahmed who hit a fine 94 and Umer Khattak’s score of 41 proved to be of no use as their side were bowled out for 252 in 43 overs. Tariq Qureshi was the pick of the bowlers with four for 34.
