SUKKUR, May 8: More than 30 armed dacoits blocked the main railway track between Rohri and Mando Dero railway stations at around 12.30 on Wednesday night, forcibly stopped 7-up Tezgam heading for Rawalpindi from Karachi and looted passengers of about seven bogies at gunpoint.

When the Tezgam set off from Rohri and crossed the outer signal of Mando Dero Railway Station, some dacoits with heavy stones and locks blocked the track, got stopped the train, entered in different bogies and looted over 100 passengers at gunpoint. This looting continued for around an hour.

After an hour police arrived at the spot and started firing in the air, which was retaliated by the dacoits.
