PESHAWAR, May 5: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed to protest against the University Model Ordinance (UMO) has planned a series of demonstrations to force the government to revoke the ordinance, according to decisions made by JAC at a meeting on Monday.
A meeting of the JAC here on Monday decided to hold a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club on May 8 that would be followed by a protest demonstration in front of the NWFP Assembly.—Correspondent
