KARACHI, May 5: The University of Karachi on Monday announced the results of BCom (Regular and External) Part-II, annual examinations-2002, with a pass percentage of 36.95.

According to the KU notification, Tahir Maqbool, seat no 11,484, of the Government College of Commerce and Economics, secured first position in the merit list by securing 1,109 out of 1,400 marks. Salman Hasan Siddiqui, seat 11,269, of the Government Premier College (No-2) and Nausheen, seat no 13,568, of the Government St Patrick’s College, got second and third positions, respectively.

As many as 15,975 candidates appeared in the examinations, out of which 5,904 were declared to have passed. In all 647 candidates got first division, while another 3,287 and 1,970 were declared to have passed the examinations in second and third divisions, respectively.
