KARACHI, May 4: After marathon trials at National Stadium on Sunday in which over 350 under-19 boys appeared 70 probables were picked for final round of trials starting on Monday at 8.30am.

National selectors Saleem Yousuf and Shoaib Mohammad conducted the trials with assistance from coaches Haris Ahmed Khan and Athar Laeeq.

These trials are being conducted to select 28 boys for two-month training at Regional Coaching Academy starting in the first week of June.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) launched the academy training for talented players two seasons ago and this will be third year running when the boys will attend the training-cum-coaching in the academy.

Selected players will be lodged at the newly-raised academy hostel building.

Following players have been invited to appear in Monday’s final trials: Khalid Latif, Khurram Mansoor, Faraz Patel, Adeel Malik, Mohammad Ali Zafar, Asif Hameed, Fazal Mohammad Khan, Altaf Ahmed, Azam Hussain, Danial Ahsan, Aamir Kaleem, Adnan Arif, Pir Zulfiqar, Humayun Alamgir, Naveed Ahmed Khan, Irfan Ansari, Adnan Naeem, Mohsin Sultan, Shahrukh Akhtar, Naseer Khan, M.
