16 cueists move to next round

KARACHI, Aug 14 Sixteen more players advanced to the third round of the 18th Sindh Cup snooker tournament by winning their matches at a local parlour on Friday.

Kashif Alam who emerged 3-1 victorious against Afsar excelled by producing a break of 61 in the first frame, the scores being 71-19, 16-49, 59-24, 51-31.

Two more sessions of second round will be played on Saturday morning followed by third round.
