Badminton trials

KARACHI, May 28 Trials to select Sindh boys and girls teams for the coming sixth National Junior Badminton Championship will be held at the KPT Sports Complex on June 5 at 3.00pm, says an announcement.

The event will be held at Gujranwala from June 11 to 15.

Two boys and two girls will be picked for the under-19 event and as many boys and girls will be selected for the under-16 event.

Players who are born on or after Jan 1, 1992, will be eligible for under-19 while those born on or after Jan 1, 1995, can feature in under-16 trials.

Interested players have been asked to bring original B-forms with them for age verification.

Sisters, Mahnoor Shahzad and Faryal Shahzad of Sindh, are the reigning girls' under-19 and under-16 champions.
