KARACHI, Feb 16: Shahzad scored a brace as Sindh demolished Punjab 6-0 while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa edged Balochistan 3-2 in the National Under-13 Regional Football Festival in Okara on Saturday.

Sindh scored thrice in six minutes after Punjab had kept them away in the opening half hour.

Shehzad opened the scoring in the 31st minute with Shahid adding another four minutes later before Ubaid put them 3-0 up by the 37th.

The other three also came in a six minute spell with Wahid’s goal in the 58th minute followed by Shahzad’s second four minutes later before Rustam rounded off the scoring in the 64th.

The other match was less one-sided with both teams playing an end-to-end game. Ayub gave Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a 19th minute lead before Nafees doubled it in the 40th minute.

Balochistan pulled one back two minutes later through Shakeel before Salman restored the two-goal cushion for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the 55th with Saeed Khan pulling one back in the 67th minute.
