SIALKOT, Jan 12: Federal Minister for National Regulation and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan inaugurated on Saturday newly-established IT labs in four government higher secondary schools (three for girls and one for boys) at Kotli Loharaana, Uggoki and Gohadpur.

Speaking at the schools, she said the federal government had expanded the broadband network to the rural areas, enabling the population to get benefit of advanced communication facilities.

She said the federal government would establish as many as 20 IT labs in government high secondary schools in her constituency (NA-111, Sialkot-II).
