KARACHI, Jan 10: The Lyceum School sealed their place in the final of the fourth Ian Fyfe Memorial Inter-school Invitation T20 colour-kit cricket league with a thrilling two-wicket defeat of Nixor College at the KGA Ground here on Thursday.

Chasing 115 in the first semi-final, The Lyceum completed their task at the start of the penultimate over after losing wickets. Opener Shahrukh Shaikh (27) and Ahsan Khan (25) were the main contributors in their triumph.

Ali Imran claimed two wickets for 23 runs in a losing cause.

Earlier, Nixor College made 114-9 in their allotted 20 overs with Fahim Moti emerging as the top scorer with 18.

Aahil Afzal and Affaf Ali starred for The Lyceum School with a brace of wickets each, while conceding 14 and 27 runs, respectively.
