Laptop distribution

Published January 9, 2013

THE giving of free laptops by the Punjab chief minister was a very good initiative but unfortunately it seems that the step was taken only to attract the youth not for the betterment of education in the country.

The distribution of laptops in Punjab University has been cancelled three times.

Now if the purpose was to benefit the students, why then is the chief minister waiting to hold a ceremony at Punjab University?

Why don’t they just give away the laptops which have already arrived for the purpose?

The chief minister is requested to take notice of the issue.
