QUETTA: An additional session judge in Quetta issued arrest warrants for provincial minister Shama Parveen Magsi and member National Assembly Nasir Ali Shah on Wednesday for submitting fake degrees for the purpose of elections, DawnNews reported.

Both legislators are from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

The arrest warrants were issued to the legislators for failing to appear in court in the fake degrees’ case.

The court issued directives to the police to arrest Magsi and Shah and present them before it.
