We were thrilled to once again co-sponsor this year’s Dawn In Education National Spelling Bee.

I would like to congratulate all the students who participated this year. You all demonstrated impressive study and spelling skills, working with words that many of us have never even heard before!

I also offer my special thanks to the Spelling Bee coordinators, teachers, principals and parents who supported the programme. Your dedication to the future of Pakistani youth is to be applauded.

This year, we were especially excited to see the Spelling Bee Competition become a truly national project, stretching from Karachi to Skardu, and across the nation.

The US Embassy is committed to supporting educational opportunities and academic excellence in Pakistan because we understand that through educational opportunities, students like you can unlock your full potential. I hope the Spelling Bee will continue not only to promote team spirit and leadership skills, but to inspire you and your friends to continue reading and studying English!
