KARACHI: Two ships to load containers and cement were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers and canola seeds also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Thirteen ships were occupying berths to load/offload containers, rice, wheat, cement, steel scrap, palm oil, chemicals and coal.

A cargo volume of 69,794 tons comprising 36,776 tons of import and 33,018 tons of export was handled.

CMA CGM Strauss and Clipper Hermud sailed out.
