GILGIT, Aug 15: Hundreds of candidates wishing to appear in Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) tests for the posts of headmaster/headmistress have demanded of authorities concerned to extend date for submission of forms.

They said that the FPSC had fixed August 20 as last date for submission of application forms while more than five days break on account of Eid holidays could deprive many applicants of the chance to submit their forms.

The affected applicants, mostly from far-flung areas, complained that the bank concerned had shut its counter in Gilgit main branch and dozens of candidates could not submit their forms.

Moreover, the candidates said that due to Ramazan the working hours of the bank had also been curtailed, which also resulted in candidates’ failure to submit the forms.

The candidates have appealed to the FPSC chairman to extend the date so that they could submit the forms and be able to appear in the test/interview for the posts of headmaster.
