LAHORE, Aug 3: Pakistan Rangers have rejected an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) claim that an underground tunnel has been discovered along Pak-India border in Samba sector which originates from Pakistani side.

A spokesman for Rangers said on Friday that with the help of locals concerted efforts were made to trace the origin of the alleged tunnel on Pakistani side but to no avail.

He said if there was any such tunnel, it originated and terminated within Indian territory, rejecting the BSF claim as part of Indian propaganda to malign Pakistan and to restrict Pakistan Rangers from planting trees along the border as part of their environment protection drive. — Staff Reporter
