KARACHI: The venues for Pakistan's series against Australia have been confirmed after Cricket Australia examined the facilities.

Pakistan is hosting its "home series" at a neutral venue as Australia refused to tour Pakistan because of security concerns. Three one-day internationals and as many Twenty20s will be played in the series starting from August 28.

A four-member delegation was in Dubai to assess the stadiums and facilities and have expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements. Due to the hot climate, the matches will begin later than usual with the ODIs set to begin at 6:00 PM and the T20s at 8:00 PM.

Sharjah will host two ODIs and the third one will be played in Abu Dhabi while all the T20s will be played in Dubai.

CA has already made arrangements to ensure their team stays cool in the sweltering heat with the help of ice baths and pre-cooling strategies such as iced drinks.
