ISLAMABAD: Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Umer Daudzai called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Thursday and discussed bilateral issues with her.

Besides bilateral issues, the Foreign Minister and the Afghan Ambassador also discussed issues of mutual interest, including the follow-up of the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf's recent visit to Kabul.

They also exchanged views with regard to the status of the Afghan-led, Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process.

The Foreign Minister reassured the Ambassador, of Pakistan's full support to the efforts aimed at bringing peace and stability in Afghanistan.
