LAHORE, July 16: Robbers looted cash and valuables from the son of a former federal minister in Township police limits and held him hostage for three hours on Monday.

Raza Gilani, who is son of Syed Munir Hussain Gilani, told police that he was heading to a confectionary when three robbers approached him and got into his car at gunpoint.

The suspects drove him to a near-by ATM machine and made him draw Rs30,000 cash.

Later, they drove him to Multan Road, snatched his laptop and car and threw him at a desolated place after three-hour hostage drama.Police are investigating the case.
