LAHORE, July 16: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated anti-polio campaign by administering polio vaccine to children below five years of age at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday.

Special Assistant to CM on health Khawaja Salman Rafique, Health Secretary Arif Nadeem, Health DG, representatives of World Health Organization, Lahore EDO (Health) and other officers concerned were present.

RAILWAYS: Special kiosks have been set up on all major railway stations throughout the country to administer anti-polio drops to children below five years of age.

The kiosks would continue to function till July 18 with the coordination of health departments concerned, said a railway police spokesman on Monday.
