LAHORE, July 7: The first phase of open trials to select teams across the country for the third edition of the under-16 Pakistan Cricket Board-Pepsi cricket stars programme has already started from June 1.

The remaining trials, to be held from July 10 to 14 under the supervision of regional head coaches and NCA talent hunt officers, will be held at three different grounds of Lahore and one each in, Turbat, Quetta and Peshawar.

Players born on or after Sept 1, 1996 are eligible to appear for the trials. Original form-B is mandatory and no other document would be accepted.

Players having cleared the age verification process will be shortlisted for final trials to be held later on at respective regional headquarters.—Sports Reporter
