LAHORE, June 24: Robbers plundered cash and valuables worth over Rs5 million in 10 incidents of street crime and house robbery in the city on Sunday.

Two robbers approached car rider Tariq Sindhu and his family in Alnoor Town at gunpoint, thrashed women family members and made off with cash, gold ornaments and cell phones worth Rs1 million.

Factory Area police have registered a case and launched investigation.

Two robbers waylaid the family of Sadiq near Doctors Hospital in Johar Town police limits and deprived them of cash and valuables worth Rs700,000.

Two robbers stopped the family of Iftikhar Ahmad in Qila Gujjar Singh police precincts and robbed them of cash and valuables to the tune of Rs500,000.

Some robbers barged into the house of Husnain in Nawab Town police limits and took away Rs800,000 worth of cash and valuables.

Some robbers burst into the house of Usman in Sattokatla police jurisdiction and fled after looting cash and valuables worth Rs600,000.

Some robbers stormed into the house of Aziz in Iqbal Town police area and made off with cash and valuables worth Rs500,000.

Two robbers stopped Saqib in Sattokatla police limits and snatched his car and some cash while as many robbers waylaid Qasim in Chuhng police area and deprived him of his car, Rs34,000 and a cell phone.

Two robbers stopped Zeeshan in Islampura police precincts and deprived him of his motorcycle, Rs12,000 and a cell phone while as many robbers waylaid Shahbaz in Factory Area police limits and snatched his bike, Rs10,000 and a cell phone.
