My school

When I come to school, I feel happy and cool.

I have so many classmates With whom I talk; I like to play with them, And together we walk.

We study both in groups and pairs, We study in our school, Without any fear; I wish every child gets the chance, To study in a good school; Where they can study, play and stay cool.

A troubled day

When I woke up in the morning, I rubbed my eyes to get back to my senses, Maybe I had lost my lenses.

I dressed up and went down, My mother asked me To buy things from the town; Out in the market, everyone laughed at me, But I couldn’t find any problem with me.

Then I remembered I had forgotten To iron my shirt; And accidentally stepped on some dirt!

Then I came back home, Saw a mouse running towards its abode!

I went up to my room, Where I saw a cat, Sleeping on the doormat!

My Italian white hen

I had a hen, I had a cock, I cared for them, And I loved them a lot, I gave them grain To strengthen their brain; When I was young, I thought of them, If I feed them daily, What would they become!

Then one day my hen died, A lot I cried, It was difficult to get Benton, But Baba brought one, The new hen laid eggs, And we put them in a basket, Our neighbours came to see Whenever they were free; Sometimes the pets were asleep, So we couldn’t make a beep.
