MARDAN, May 23: The Malgari Ustazaan took to the streets on Wednesday to press the government to announce service structure, time-scale promotion formula and teachers’ son quota.
Led by provincial president of Malgari Ustazaan Islamudin, hundreds of teachers hailing from Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda and Mardan marched from the office of EDO education to the Mardan Press Club, passing through various bazaars.
The teachers were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands.—Correspondent
