LAHORE, May 16: Faiz Ghar, a project of Faiz Foundation Trust, located in Model Town’s F Block was sealed on Wednesday over non-payment of property tax, according to a private television channel.

The channel says Faiz Ghar has been sealed by the Excise and Taxation Department.

Launched on March 1, 2009, the project is aimed at promotion of the progressive and humanistic ideas of Faiz Ahmad Faiz through various literary and cultural activities.

The place also displays memorabilia related to Faiz.

Faiz Ghar also holds story-telling and singing sessions for kids along with literary activities on Sundays.
