ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court warned the Director General of Federal Investigation Agency, Tehseen Anwar Shah, on Wednesday of contempt proceedings if he failed to arrest PTV’s former adviser Mian Khurram Rasool by Friday.

The adviser is wanted in fraud cases but is being allegedly protected by top government officials.

A three-judge bench had taken up a petition filed by Pervaiz Hussain and others accusing the former adviser of defrauding them of Rs630 million.
