RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police on Tuesday arrested two terrorists during a raid conducted in Wah Cantt area and recovered heavy weapons from their possession.

Police spokesman told APP that acting on a tip-off a special police team under the supervision of SHO Saddar Wah Police Station Muhammad Khan conducted raid at the hideout of the terrorists and arrested two accused identified as Usman Liaqat alias Shah Jee and Saqib Ali Shah alias Hamza and recovered two AK-47, eight magazines, 200 rounds and four hand grenades from their possession.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Taxilla, Raja Tefoor said that the terrorists were allegedly associated with banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) while further investigations were underway.
