ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Babar Awan said on Tuesday that it was very unfortunate that importance was being given to a person like Mansoor Ijaz who had spoken against the forces, security operators and highest dignitaries of the country.

Babar Awan said nobody is above the Constitution and he who levels allegations against anybody without evidence should be punished according to law.

“If someone is found involved in defaming someone, he should be brought to book according to law of the land,” he said.
