NAB division formed to deal with major corruption scandals

ISLAMABAD: A Special Operation Division to investigate major corruption scandals was established at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) headquarter is Islamabad, DawnNews reported on Saturday.

Brigadier (retd) Musadiq Abbasi would head this special division.

According to NAB sources, corruption scandals related to state institutions such as Pakistan Railways, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), and Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) and similar matters pertaining to other institutions would be handled by this division.

The division is expected to start functioning in the following week.

How many years ago NAB was form, I have yet to see any corrupation case they have resolved. This is another goverment body for rich people to get jobs. The list in the article , PIA,PSM, PR, TCP and ERRA, all goverment run companies and we have goverment made body(NAB) to investigate them. Just a joke, if the carry out proper investigation, there would be no corrupation future.

Why power and gas sectors are missing from the big names of corruption focus? when you have no electricity you have darkness and thats when thieves come out and rob. So start with the energy sector first and create jobs by going after others too.
