PESHAWAR: Schools reopened in Safi tehsil of the Mohmand tribal region on Friday after remaining closed for three years, DawnNews reported.

Militancy and law and order situation had forced the local administration to close the schools in Safi and other areas of the tribal region.

Mohmand's Education Officer Saad Mohammad said that the administration had been issued orders to reopen the schools and teachers were directed to attend schools from Friday.
