RAWALPINDI, Aug 20: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) here on Saturday recorded the statements of two prosecution witnesses in connection with the killing of a Rangers soldier during the military operation at Lal Masjid in 2007.

The two witnesses - magistrate Liaquat Abbasi and Aabpara police sub-inspector Ghulam Mustafa - told the ATC No 1 Judge, Malik Mohammad Akram Awan, that they recovered arms and ammunition from inside the mosque but there was nobody present at that time.—A Reporter
