ROME: Diego Forlan has set his sights on a move to Inter Milan despite interest from Galatasaray, Italian media reported on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old Uruguay forward currently plays for Atletico Madrid in Spain but allegedly claimed from his holidays in Miami that he dreams of playing for Inter.

And he also claimed he has had an offer from the Milan giants.

“Yes, it's true I've received an offer from Inter. It's my dream to play in Milan,” he said, according to Italian media picking up an interview Forlan supposedly gave with a Turkish newspaper.

“In Turkey my name is very hot. Even so, I haven't had any contact with either Galatasaray, Besiktas or Fenerbahce.

“Not even an offer, but I don't deny Galatasaray are a great side.

“Turkey is a beautiful country and it would be great to continue my career there.”Forlan's is one of two names being linked with Inter, who look certain to sell Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o to Anzhi Makhachkala this week.

They have also been linked with Manchester City's Carlos Tevez as a possible replacement.
