It was refreshing to see all forms of art under one roof and not in a formal exhibition setting but something that was very casual and creatively engaging. “Art Lootmaar”, held on January 8 through 11 at The 2nd Floor (T2F) was an exciting initiative where fine artists, designers and photographers presented their work in the form of a bazaar. The prices were considerably lower in comparison to those normally found at a gallery exhibition. Using torn, corrugated sheets for writing names and empty fruit cartons to display the artists’ work was another innovative, quirky idea used by curator.

Catch up with the talented artists Aashtee Adil, Anam Haleem, Cyra Ali, Hawra Harianawala,  Hira Saleem Malik, Humayun Memon, Jamal Ashiqain, Khuda Bux Abro, Mehlum Sadri,  Mehreen Hashmi, Mustafa Mohsin , Sana Nasir, Scherherezade Junejok, Summaiya Jillani, Uzair Akram and discover the innovative work presented by each one of them.
