LAHORE, Nov 22: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab Information Secretary Dr Fakhruddin Chaudhry has asked the Punjab government to justify spending Rs300 million from exchequer on the development of Raiwind estate of the Sharif brothers.

The information secretary said though the PPP government had not registered any corruption case against them as part of its reconciliation policy, PML-N leaders should justify the spending of tax payers’ money on the development of their estate.

He urged Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to quash the cases against President Zardari after Mr Sharif’s revelations.
