OKARA, Nov 6: The people are facing difficulties in finding a burial place for their loved ones because of space crunch in Ghorey Shah graveyard.

A number of people led by social worker Tariq Ali Bhutto told Dawn that several well-off families of the town had occupied vast pieces of land and raised boundary walls on them.

They called upon the district administration to take notice of the situation and get vacated the illegally occupied land of the graveyard. TWO KILLED:

Two passengers were killed while nine other sustained injuries when a bus collided with a truck parked along Okara-Deepalpur Road on Saturday.

Reports said the bus, going to Bahawalnagar from Faisalabad, collided with the truck near Chak 54/2-L. Consequently, Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Riaz died on the spot while Shoban, Aslam, Shakeel, Suleman, Taj, Noor Muhammad, Maqbool and Muhammad Aslam suffered injuries. They were shifted to a local hospital.

A teenager was killed when his bike collided with an oncoming car on Sikandar Road on Saturday.

Abdul Rehman, 16, was on the way to his home when the incident happened.

DENGUE PATIENTS:  Two dengue patients were admitted to the DHQ Hospital on Saturday.

Reports said that condition of Athar Abbas (24) of village 2/4-L and Najma Bibi of Samdpura was stated to be stable.

Medical superintendent Dr Nazir Hussain said that both patients were tested positive for dengue.
