ISLAMABAD, March 12 Jamaat-i-Islami Vice-President Senator Prof Khurshid Ahmad on Friday submitted an adjournment motion in the Senate seeking debate on fresh wave of target killing.

The senator has called for 'serious consideration' of the law and order situation in Karachi with reference to the target killing of Ulema and acts of sectarian violence.

Citing the assassination of Maulana Saeed Ahmad Jalalpuri and an attempt on Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem's life, he said it indicated a plan to further aggravate the situations.
