KARACHI, May 25 The managements of Lahore Blues, Karachi Whites and Karachi Yellows announced their squads for the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Under-16 Youth Cup that kicks off at various centres of Pakistan from Tuesday.

Mohammad Javed, who recently joined the list of 27 youth football coaches working under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme, will be making his debut as coach of the Karachi Whites team.

According to Javed, Adeel will lead the Karachi Whites while Noman will act as his deputy. The other players in the squad are Fahad Anwarzeb, Haris Salim, Umar Faiz, Zahid, Saghir Ahmed, Zubair, Adil, Mohammad Mustafa, Sumair, Faraz Pervez, Ali Khan, Naveedullah, Mohammed Umair, Zain Zulfiqar, Noman, Wajid Ali, Abdul Naseer, Aftab Alam and Sameer.

Meanwhile, AFC Coach Hassan Baloch's Karachi Yellows comprises Yasir Ali (captain), Junaid Ahmed, Mohammad Ayaz, Aqib Ayub, Majid Hameed, Noroz Moosa, Abdullah, Badar-ul-Hassan, Soomar Qasim, Naveedullah, Mohammad Umai, Lahiq Ahmed, Umer Younas, Saddam Hussain, Anayatullah, Mohammad Yousuf, Adnan Nazar and Basit Hassan. Saleem Arab and Ayub Alam are the assistant coaches with Yaqoob Baloch as the manager.

Lahore Blues have former Wohaib FC's Faisal Amir Khan as their coach. Faisal has named Aitchison College's Zoher Hasan as skipper of his team while Naveed Sadiq, who represented Pakistan in AFC U-13 Festival of Football at Dhaka in 2007, is vice captain.

The other players are Tanavish, Sarfraz, Awais Khan, Ahsan Khan, Zubair, Zarghan, Jamil Arif, Bilal Ali, Irfar-ur-Rehman, Adnan Ayub, Mohammad Bilal, Muqarram, Bilal Zahid, Mohammad Imran, Bilal Rasheed and Imran.—Agencies
